Through a holistic framework and evidence-based counseling approaches, you will be invited to tap into your strengths and overcome obstacles that may be keeping you “stuck” and preventing you from reaching your goals. Techniques and approaches may include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Person-Centered Therapy

  • Solution-Focused Therapy

  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

  • Motivational Interviewing

  • Supportive Therapy

  • Somatic Experiencing

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

  • Mindfulness

In our work together we will pull from several different treatment modalities that will assist in producing positive life changes. I carefully integrate methods of treatment and personalize approaches because I believe in the uniqueness of each individual. Depending on your situation, I will support you through shorter or longer-term objectives.

My clinical experience includes working in an integrative group mental health practice, where I saw adults, adolescents, and children. Currently, I provide psychotherapy to individuals in a private practice setting and online via telemental health.

After obtaining an undergraduate degree in psychology, I pursued graduate work in counselor education and completed a graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina State University. I hold National Board Certified Counselor status and am a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the Licensed Clinical Counselors of North Carolina Association (LCCNC).

Besides being passionate about my work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and dog, walking, reading, traveling, cooking, crafting, and being anywhere near the water.
